Victor Osimhen Sets New Nigerian Record – Becomes First Nigerian To Hit Double Digits Champions League Goals

Victor James Osimhen has now etched his name amongst the greats in Nigerian football as he has surpassed legends like Obafemi Martins, Nwankwo Kanu and Jay-Jay Okocha to become the most dominant Nigerian striker in Champions League history. 

The 26-year-old has added one more feather to his cap, becoming not only the top scoring Nigerian in Champions League history but also the first to reach double figures.

The goal against Liverpool where he was deservedly named Man of the Match took the Nigerian's tally in the UCL to 10 (Ten goals), becoming the first Nigeria international to reach double figures in the competition.

Victor is also now the top-scoring player in the UCL from the West African Nation.
