Now, This is GROWTH!!! Deborah "Kante" Abiodun Has Shown She Will Smoothly Take Over From Halimatu I. Ayinde 

From the Local League, to the National U-20 (Falconets) where she was clearly a stand out player, and then further refining her skills at Pittsburgh FC as a college student where Coach Randy took a chance on her by taking her to the World Cup 2023, and earned the nickname "Kante".....

From being on loan to Dallas Trinity before WAFCON victory and Washington Spirit decided to call her back......

Ladies and Gentlemen, Deborah Abiodun has steadily gone through the process I call "the refiner's fire" to be where she is today. The growth wasn't sponsored by mere wishful thinking or backdoor arrangement - she went through the PROCEDURE!!!!!

Still work in progress but she is surely not where she used to be and practically everyone who has followed the game will testify Kante's game has grown tremendously in the short time she has spent with the "Spirits". 

Commanding performance against Republic of Benin and two 🅰️ssists to show workings, we can only hope the beautiful run of form is sustained as we excitedly watch a smooth transition where the Maestro, Halimatu Ayinde passes the torch of greatness to Deborah Abiodun sometimes in the near future.
