GOALKEEPING

Again, Amaka didn't dissapoint us, she was the reason we didn't concede. Reliable and Dependable as always.7️⃣.5️⃣

DEFENCE

Ashleigh Plumptre: She obviously misses a combo with Rinsola which has proven to be effective on the left against a pacy attack.7️⃣

Oluwatosin Demehin: Made up for her partner Ohale a number of times to show she has grown to be a formidable pair. 7️⃣

Osinachi Ohale: Troubled a couple of times by swift attackers who obviously don't have the experience to finish the job well. She is still a rock regardless.6️⃣.5️⃣

Michelle Alozie: Michelle was decent with coping with the Bennenoise and overlapping runs were bot bad either.7️⃣

We need to start integrating new , capable and proven legs into the defence and this is where Rofiat Imuran, Nicole Payne and a more refined Shukurat Oladipo needs to start getting playing time and confidence.

MIDFIELD.

Deborah Abiodun: Her game has improved tremendously since joining the spirits and we saw her unleash today with two Assists whilst doing her "dirty" job neatly without a single card. Now this is MATURITY!!!!!

As predicted, she is the anointed one to take over from Maestro Ayinde.8️⃣

Rasheedat Ajibade: For the umpteenth time, Ajibade struggles playing the creative midfielder role like a fish out of water. This has been proven over and again - using her in this unfamiliar terrain against Benin shows the coach isn't ready to take this team anywhere. She was TIRED and shouldn't have started that game especially that she was the last to hit camp. Overworking her will only be counterproductive. 6️⃣

Taiwo Afolabi: They should leave this young lady to GROW. I made it clear from day one and the Afolabi I watched corroborated just that. She needs to be well refined to have a chance at the Super Falcons' midfield. The current Super-Six has made breaking into the midfield akin to a camel passing through the eye of a needle. She will be better suited to come in if attention is paid to her growth now for the future than forcing her into the team when she clearly hasn't grown to earn the spot.4️⃣.5️⃣

‼️Randy Waldrum left us a World-Class midfield which should not be tampered with going into the World Cup if we are serious about making an impact. The Super Six only needs one or two who could stand in should we deal with an injured player before then. This is where Regina Otu come.

We obviously miss Magical Joe and Toni Payne.

FORWARDS

Esther Okoronkwo: The incoming CAF Women’s Player of the Year by MERIT and all standards! She was a delight to watch despite the bad pitch. She made up for her missed goal by ensuring she didn't leave without compensating for it. Esther has effortlessly become the soul of out attack. An Impact player without an iota of doubt. 9️⃣

🇳🇬Chinwendu Ihezuo: A goal to give us the lead in the game. But for the seater she missed when her teammates were already rejoicing, she was constantly pressing the Benin defence and typical of her game against a physical team, we felt her presence.7️⃣

Folasade Ijamilusi: A player gifted with pace and runs but still needs to refine her final third balls to make a statement and announce she is ready for the Super Falcons of Nigeria. A more disciplined defence will expose my reservations about her and its only a matter of time.6️⃣

The Forwards still need Edna Imade, Gift Monday, Rinsola Babajide, Uchenna Kanu etc who have proven to be World Class to start playing together ahead of the next WAFCON and World Cup. The team rarely gets friendly games and should be using all the games to build a solid team that can challenge for the World Cup in lass than 2 years from now.
