Super Eagles Forward and Teammate Terribly Assaulted By Club Fans, Sent on Medical Leave For Recovery.

Nigeria Super Eagles striker Terem Moffi and Cote d’Ivoire International winger Jeremy Boga were physically assaulted by members of their own OGC Nice fanbase over the weekend and are now on medical leave.

About 4️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ members of OGC Nice’s supporters Club went to the training centre In expectation of the team's return from Lorient where they were defeated 3-1 and descended on the players, Terem Moffi and his Ivorean counterpart, forcing them off the coach, slapping, hitting, spitting whilst hurling rac*ial words are them.

Moffi and Boga are said to have filed complaints to the police, and according to ESPN, both players have been placed on medical leave: five days for Boga and one week for Moffi.
